BASKET METHOD
The steel tube Flying Lead is loaded in a basket in a figure “8” or coil configuration. The basket is lowered Subsea mid-point along the Flying Lead route. An ROV moves the Flying Lead heads from the basket to the fixed stabplates. In deep water buoyancy can be added to the stabplate to assist the ROV. In shallow water a Tugger Line can be used to assist the diver or ROV
