MQC Stab Plates - ROV Operated
MQC Terminator Alpha I
UNITECH developed this low complexity ROV Operated Multi Quick Connector in 1986. Early projects included work for Rockwater, Shell and FMC. More recent projects have been undertaken in GOM, Australia and West Africa. Terminator Alpha is just one of the many offerings in UNITECH's extensive range of MQCs which use a common building block approach.

No Bending – No Welding – No Piping
All the bending, welding and piping are integratet in the female plate. This means that several weak links are eliminated in the assembling of the umbilical lines to the female plate. Mostly all mechanical joints/parts vulnerable to leaks are with this design reduced to allmost none. This terminator is from a Safety and Quality aspect a much safer construction than any other solutions known in the marked.

UNITECH has arrived at a reliable subsea electro/hydraulic multiwell control system without the need for conventional control pods.
The Development Program that started in 1998, produced a ROV Operated Stab Plate combining several functions in one unit. UNITECH’s patented stab plate is hosting plate integral couplers, solenoid valves and electric connectors. A further advance is the plate design with integrated hydraulic and electric circuits, avoiding external plumbing.
